This week one of the most popular guys in the world of golf is Ethan Tracy, a professional golfer who played for the University of Arkansas and earned a Web.com tour status through Q school this past 2016.
Ethan Tracy holed an eagle from about 100 yards away on the 18th to force a playoff that would lead him to claim victory at the Club Colombia Championship on Sunday in Bogotá. Tracy, who began the day in eighth place, finished the final round with a 6-under 65.
Tracy and Roberto Diaz pared the first playoff hole before Tracy holed a 20-foot birdie putt to win his first event on the tour. He now lead’s the Web.com money list.

Prior to the eagle, Tracy made birdies on the 14th and 17th to give himself a chance.
It was Tracy´s 3rd start of the season in the Web.com tour, and it was the first time he made the cut, not shooting lower than 76 in his previous starts of the season.
Tracy who played in last years U.S. Open thanks to good play at his local qualifier in Pinehurst, North Carolina (where he shot 69) and more good play at his sectional qualifier at the traditionally difficult Powell, Ohio site (where he shot a 9-under-par 133 over 36 holes), had the chance to play with two major champions like Justin Rose and Geoff Ogilvy at the practice rounds in Oakmond. Tracy finished tied 65th and earned $22,000 at the US Open.
It was his first taste of a major championship, and he said that it would help him prepare for this season. At the light of facts, we can now say the was right. He is ready to accomplish great things this 2017.
We will keep an eye on you this 2017. Best of luck Ethan Tracy!
Teammate Winning celebration
His University of Arkansas teammate Andrew Landry who captured the second event of the year in the Bahamas and now sits No. 2 behind his teammate on the money list, joined him on the 18th green to shower him with beer.
