Sandwiched between the River Lagan and the railway line, only 1 mile from the centre of Lisburn, Aberdelghy is an excellent challenge for both the novice and experienced golfer. Although a relatively short course measuring 4,143 metres for the men and 3,655 metres for the ladies with a Par of 66 and 65 respectively, the emphasis is on accuracy rather than distance. Water comes into play on no less than five of the holes. The signature hole is undoubtedly the 3rd at 340 metres played as a dogleg through tall trees to a green which is well protected by water.
